Pagan Doula/Mid-WifeMy husband and I are starting a family and I'm very much interested in finding a mid-wife or doula of any pagan faith (My husband and I are Roman Reconstructionists).I would prefer either a woman who has experienced birth herself, or who is a licensed mid-wife. I do not require a licensed professional, if you have children, know the female body and spirit well then as far as I am concerned you are an expert! I'd like to form a friendship with this person and have them be an active participant in my entire pregnancy and hopefully a friend for life! I expect to pay you a reasonable fee for every official meeting (perhaps monthly during the first two trimesters and weekly thereafter?) and a larger sum for the actual birth. This can be negotiated.
