Pumpkin Butter For Sale!Pine Burrow Farm has completely homemade Pumpkin Butter for sale in half pint and pint jars.
No canned pumpkin puree was used in this stuff, the puree was made fresh right here, mixed with sugar and traditional spices and simmered low and long.
The smell is amazing.
This would make a great hostess gift for Thanksgiving, or start a new
tradition of having toast and pumpkin butter on Thanksgiving morning!
Half pint jars are $5 and pint jars are $10. There are a limited amount of
pint jars available.
Please note: Pumpkins cannot be safely put through the canning process (the
PH balance of cooked pumpkin is enough that it could make you sick in long
storage), the FDA says that the only safe way to store pumpkin for any amount of time is in the Freezer.
My Pumpkin Butter is a Freezer butter. The jars are in there right now.
They will keep in the freezer for up to one year. They will sell as frozen.
If you want to use them right away you simply put the jar into the fridge
until it's thawed. Once open the Pumpkin Butter should be used within 10 days and always kept refrigerated.
But don't worry; it won't last 10 days!
